Dire Wolves Re-Signs MDI Roster for Year Three

May 19, 2026

Dire Wolves is excited to confirm the return of its Mythic Dungeon International roster for a third consecutive season, with the squad set to represent the organisation once again throughout the 2026 MDI campaign.

Since first joining Dire Wolves, the roster has become one of the organisation’s most consistent and recognisable competitive lineups, delivering strong performances while building a reputation for discipline, resilience, and high-level execution (with maybe a few deaths thrown in) in one of World of Warcraft’s most demanding esports formats.

The returning Kiwi led core of Jacc, Ryu and Staypoor will be joined by the team’s two newcomers DonnyXD and Oconns, whose impact quickly established them as key pieces of the roster’s long-term future. Their addition brought fresh energy and adaptability to the lineup, helping the team focus on challenging some of the strongest dungeon teams in the world.

Over the last two years, the Dire Wolves MDI squad has competed against elite international opposition across multiple MDI stages, consistently showcasing strong route planning, clean execution, and the ability to perform under pressure in high-stakes environments.

The Mythic Dungeon International continues to evolve at an incredible pace, even during time trials with teams pushing faster routes, tighter optimisation, and increasingly aggressive strategies every season. Maintaining roster continuity heading into 2026 was a major priority for the organisation.

“Keeping this roster together was extremely important for us,” said Dire Wolves management. “The chemistry, work ethic, and professionalism this team has shown over the past few years has been outstanding. We believe this lineup still has enormous potential moving forward.”

With another season ahead and a new expansion continuing to reshape the competitive dungeon meta, the squad is already preparing for the next stage of competition and looking to build on the experience gained over the last two years.

Dire Wolves fans can expect more content, coverage, and tournament updates as the team prepares for another run at the MDI.
